Postseason Underachievers
I could go two different ways with this, and eventually I might. But for now I have to make a choice.
Jim Miloch, who runs a great podcast called Pod of Fame, recently posted this on Twitter:
Wonderful. Lots of interesting stuff in there. Too much, in fact, to adequately cover in a single edition. There are two main themes that I think require a lot of detail to properly discuss.
Players who deserved to win mythical World Series MVP trophies in the years before the award formally existed.
Players who were unexpected underachievers in postseason play.
